ADS Global Honours Spruce Up Interns

Nine youths involved in the Spruce Up Jamaica: 2010 Tourism Summer Internship Program were all honoured for their time spent at the company with a graduation ceremony held at ADS Global's Caribbean headquarters on August 5th.
Honoured were Shammala Kerr, Ramon Clayton, Saseka Reece, Kerrida Small, Roxanne Hines, Amoy Grant, Sean-Michael McIntosh, Shadel Gayle and Kamoy Thompson who all received certificates for exceptional performance and growth executed at the company during their three weeks of work.

The interns also participated in the company's essay competition where Clayton and Kerr where announced the top scorers and were both awarded cash token. Clayton who came first received $10,000 and Kerr as the runner-up got $5,000.
During his speech, Director of ADS Global, Barry Bonitto said that it is the company's second such involvement in the program and this years group of interns performed well and displayed a seriouos attitude towards work and professional development. He also added that the company is willing to offer permanent placement to the interns.
Marlon Tingling, who represented the Ministry of Tourism at the presentation ceremony, announced that the ministry is happy and pleased with the report they received from ADS about this team of interns performance.
"ADS Global's industry is growing... they (the interns) have come here, they have learnt and have performed and we want to congratulate them."
The exercise concluded with the handing over of certificates & tokens, and closing remarks by staff officials.
Present were Conrad Robinson, Regional Manager for JAMPRO; Marsha Josephs, Training Manager; Derri-Gail Faulkner, Director's Executive Assistant; Modrelle Calder, Human Resources Manager and Desrene Grant-Anderson, Client Relations Liaison Manager.
